About Harristown Full Gospel Holiness Church
In Memorium Of : Rev. C. Fulton Gaskins and SIs. Yvonne Gaskins.
Rev. C. Fulton Gaskins had a vision for the Harristown Community, even though he has passed on, His vision still lives on. His dedication to work for the Lord and help people of this community. This inspired him to push beyond measure, even when at times his body said stay home and rest, he had to go because he had a great call upon his life. Many people didn't understand just how he could go on but God's strength and grace is unmeasurable. Through Rev. Gaskins' Ministry many souls have been touched and many souls have been won to the Lord. It’s not always an easy job, but it takes special people to take up the cross especially when it seems all odds are against you.
Sis Yvonne stood by Bro. Fulton for many years in the ministry. Many people wouldn't not give a five bedroom, two bath home for one room trailer, just to work for the Lord. Sis Yvonne did, she may not have liked everything but in order to see the work of the Lord go forth she followed her husband as he followed Christ and the work of the Lord. On January 4,1981, the doors of the church were opened to receive members. Bro Fulton Gaskins ran his first revival in Harristown Church on July of 1981.

At Harristown Full Gospel Holiness Church , Our mission at the church is to love and serve God, to spread the message of Jesus Christ, and to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and the community. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where people can come together to worship, learn, and grow in their faith. We are committed to helping those in need, providing support and care to our members, and being a beacon of hope and compassion in the world. Our mission is guided by the principles of love, forgiveness, and service, and we seek to live out these values in everything we do.
What We Believe
WE BELIEVE:
- In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
- In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
- That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
- That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
- That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
- In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
- Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.
- In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
- In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
- In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
- Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
- In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet.
- In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
- In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked
